2021-22 Dual Credit Capstone Project Group

Who We Are?

As 2021-2022 Dual-Credit students, we identified the need to teach and practice the creation of traditional Zuni attire and the application of Zuni designs in school. As a project group, we noted that this application and practice of garment construction and design will not only perpetuate the sacred knowledge of our ancestors, but provide our students with the opportunity to express their creativity. Our students will also be given an opportunity to build an entrepreneurial background as an ecommerce shop will be implemented into this website as the course is developed.

As a member of the 2022 ZHS Garment Construction Team, I centered this project on my passion for fashion design, style, and art. I believe that through the provision of opportunities to express creativity and embrace one's culture, our students will be more engaged and successful in their academic, financial, and creative efforts.
